Expect an instant lift, and you may be disappointed.
Some people noticed a different jawline straight away. Others wrote that they couldn't tell immediately. Judging Ultherapy from the mirror that day alone seemed a little premature in these accounts, so we gave these two different experiences equal space.
Noticed a change right away
“I could feel my jawline lift right after the treatment. They say it'll look even better after a month, so I'm really looking forward to it! Highly recommend Ultherapy!”

Couldn't tell immediately
“I couldn't tell much right after treatment, but over about two to three weeks I felt my jawline gradually becoming more defined. I'm happy with it.”

Both reviewers described when they noticed changes after their own treatment. Reviews mentioning combined procedures were excluded from this comparison.
Some noticed it right away; others only weeks later. Don't draw your conclusion from today's mirror alone.
They thought it hadn't worked.Weeks later, they noticed their jawline.
One person couldn't tell at first, then noticed a more defined jawline after two to three weeks. Another noticed their eyelids immediately and their jawline a month or two later. There wasn't one shared point when everyone first noticed a change.
“After a month or two, I could see my jawline becoming more defined.”

Their stories changed between day one and the following weeks. Ask when it makes sense to check your own progress.
Around week three, people started asking if they'd lost weight.
A person who had Ultherapy before their wedding photos said that around week three, people asked if they'd lost weight. Another wrote that others noticed their more defined facial contours. We haven't assumed who noticed first; we've kept the reactions they actually reported hearing.
“It's been about three weeks, and lately people have been asking if I've lost weight...👀”

Jawlines, eyes:people noticed changes in different places.
One person described a more defined double-chin area, jawline and cheeks. Another first noticed a change in their eyelids immediately after treatment. These are personal accounts of where changes were felt, not statistics comparing results by body area.
“Now my double-chin area, jawline and cheeks are much more defined, and my whole face feels slimmer.”

Rather than ‘the whole face,’ look for a review that names the area you're concerned about.
A year and a half later, one person still noticed their jawline.
A person returning for a second Ultherapy session wrote that their jawline was still defined a year and a half after the first. It's good to hear that someone was happy for so long, but it doesn't mean results last that long for everyone or that everyone needs the same retreatment schedule.
“It's been about a year and a half since my first Ultherapy treatment, but my jawline was still there thanks to how carefully they treated me back then—haha, honestly!”

The date of retreatment isn't the date results disappeared. Base the conversation on how you look and feel now.
A month and a half of waiting.Still no change.
Someone also wrote that even after a month and a half, they couldn't see any difference at all. We didn't count pre-treatment worries or same-day ‘I can't tell yet’ comments as no results. We haven't presented one person's experience as everyone's outcome, but we haven't hidden that experience either.
“It's been a month and a half since the treatment, and there is absolutely, absolutely no effect whatsoever.”

Some reviews said that even waiting didn't bring noticeable results. The outcome wasn't the same for everyone.

Why we chose these six points
We rechecked the original reviews already linked to the article and chose real passages relevant to each section. We separated expectations from experienced changes and removed unverified comparisons between areas or claims about frequency. We didn't turn one person's experience into everyone's result.
